HORSE BOARDING

Lookout Ranch is the perfect place for your retirement and senior horses to breathe in the fresh air, explore the ranch and relax.

Boarding Rate: $250*/week

*Base rate. Subject to change

BOARDING

When you board your dog at Lookout Ranch, they become a member of my household; given the same love and attention I give my own dogs. They will stay inside the home with me, and accompany me on many hikes and other adventures throughout the ranch.

BOARD & TRAIN

Each training package includes your dog living the ranch life while they are here. They will get to do fun activities like (safely) helping with ranch chores and hiking. During their stay, they will learn to behave and learn around distractions like other dogs, cats, chickens and livestock. Dogs will sleep in a crate inside the house during their stay. They may take trips into town to work on their behaviors in other distracting environments.

DECOYING & PROTECTION SPORTS

I am the first certified woman decoy for the US Mondioring organization and am passionate about helping you and your dog reach your training goals. Please connect with me for ringsport / protection training requests.

Refresher Boarding (only available to dogs who have completed a 10 or 14 day ranch retreat program)

Boarding with a brush up on training is available. This is a great option if you’re going on vacation or you feel like your dog just needs to work on their commands.

Refresher Boarding Rate: $900*/week

Board & Train Packages

All training packages include a pickup lesson. If possible, we also like to have a mid-retreat lesson with you and your dog. It makes the transition easier when you pick your dog up, gives you a chance to see the new behaviors and skills in action and most importantly, gives you a chance to work on your handling skills with your dog!

Please note, we do not train aggressive dogs or dogs with serious behavior issues. We are happy to refer you to some exceptional trainers in the area, who specialize in this type of training. Need a referral for aggression or not sure if your dog fits into that category? Drop us a line and we will be happy to discuss it with you.

10 Day On Leash Ranch Retreat

In addition to their daily ranch activities, your dog will learn how to perform a variety of commands on leash. Behaviors taught include loose leash walking, sit, down, stay, come/recall on leash, going to a place and door/threshold manners.

Price: $1,300.00

14 Day Off Leash Ranch Retreat

In addition to the above behaviors on leash, your dog will also learn how to recall/come reliably while off leash and build a foundation to perform all the above behaviors off leash. Your dog will also be taught a leave it command. If you’re looking for a reliable hiking partner, this is the package for you.

Price: $2,000.00

We understand that some dogs might need a little extra time. If that is the case, we will communicate that information with you, and decide if additional training days are necessary. Additional training day prices vary by program, but will generally be the daily rate for each package.

Each program requires specific equipment. You will have the option to purchase the equipment prior to your dog’s training dates, or, we will purchase it for you, and add it to your invoice.

All training retreat packages require partial payment prior to dog drop off. Partial payment is half of the cost of the training package. Balance due on day of pick up.
